The Texas Hawking Association's annual Sky Trials are held in mid-February each year, weather permitting. Participants are falconers flying longwings which are judged on the quality of their flights. This field event has quickly become a favorite for THA members who come to witness the spectacular hunting capacities of true falcons. If you've never seen a Peregrine's blinding stoop before, the Sky Trials will afford you with an up-front seat. This event is traditionally held near Hillsboro, approximately 45 minutes south of Fort Worth. Updates for the event will be posted on the Events and Meets page.
