The THA Annual Summer Camp continues to grow in popularity with members each year. It's an opportunity for falconers to get together while their birds stay home and get on with the molt. The Summer Camp boasts lots of great food, swimming, story telling, and camaradrie; generally sharing a relaxing, great outdoor weekend with fellow falconers. Sometimes we hold an apprentice workshop. This alone is enough reason to attend this event if you're seriously thinking about becoming a falconer.

A great way to cool off!

The THA Summer Camp is traditionally held one weekend in either May or June of each year at Lake Whitney, near Hillsboro. Exact dates and times will be listed on the Events and Meets page.

THA also holds its Board Meeting at the event, which gives individuals an opportunity to hear first-hand the latest news in regards to the current and future state of Texas falconry. With so much happening on the national falconry scene, attending the Board meeting will provide useful insight into our ever evolving sport. We're all in this together: information and involvement is crucial to keeping falconry alive and well in our future.
